Metro Exodus – How to Improve Your Game Before You Start

This guide will show you how to tweak your game files to improve some simple settings. Hope this guide will help you.

1. Go to C:\Users\Name\Saved Games\metro exodus\##################\user.cfg
2. Open user.cfg and press “ctrl+f” and type the command from below you want to locate.

Change FOV:

• “r_base_fov #.”
• Things such as screen blood does not resize with the FOV
• For 16:9, 90 FOV = 59 FOV (Link: FOV Calculator[battlefield.ab-stuff.de])

Disable Motion Blur:

• “mouse_curve_coef 0”
• “sens border 2”

Fix Mouse Input:

• “mouse_curve_coef 0”
• “sens border 2”

Fix Black Screen Launch:

1. Go to (Example): D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Metro Exodus
2. Delete .webm files – credits.webm and legal.web
3. Update AMD/NVIDIA GeForce drivers
4. Restart the PC
