NASCAR 21 Ignition: How to Get Your Wheel Working (Update 1.21)

An instructional guide on how to get your wheel & pedals working in version 1.2.1.0 of the game.

Note: NASCAR 21: Ignition is the official video game of the world’s most popular stock car racing series. 

 

Introduction
As of version 1.2.1.0 of the game, my wheel and pedals would not work (Thrustmaster Ts-XW & Heusinkveld sprint pedals. So I sought a solution.

How-To Get Your Wheel Working
This method should work with any wheel and pedal setup.

Downloads rFactor 2 demo and configure your wheel and pedals to rFactor 2 and save your settings as something memorable like “Nascar ignition”

These will be saved somewhere like H:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\Controller

Copy this over to H:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\NASCAR 21 Ignition\NascarNext\Content\Physics\Assets\Controllers

Then select the wheel profile “nascar ignition” in the options.

Improved Rear view functionality in Chase Camera

Misc. fixes, optimizations, and quality of life improvements
