Satisfactory: Titan Forest Start Location

In satisfactory, there are currently 4 official starting areas. The plains, the rocky desert, the northern forest, and the dune desert. All of these areas are set up so that you can easily start a new game. The titan forest happens to be a viable location for starting a new game, so I have made this guide to show you how to start in this new area!

A new start for a new adventure

In satisfactory, there are currently 4 official starting areas. The plains, the rocky desert, the northern forest, and the dune desert.

All of these locations have one thing in common. They have a group of iron, copper, and limestone nodes all near each other, and all are easily accessible. Later-game nodes like coal, caterium, and oil are also decently close by.

The titan forest biome also has these qualities. I have started a vanilla game using this titan forest start, and it’s going pretty well!

To actually get to the forest at the start of the game, just pick any starting area, then use the Just Fly mod by Kcking from the Satisfactory Mod Manager to fly to the titan forest.

A good spot to land is by the small lake in the middle of the biome. There are 3 pure copper nodes to the south of the lake and a pure limestone node southwest of the lake. There are also 4 iron nodes to the east and west of the lake. It’s easy to find with the Satisfactory Interactive Map on the Satisfactory Calculator website.

I recommend landing on the north side of the lake because there is an alpha spitter guarding the copper nodes on the other side. To deal with that spitter, see my guide on how to trap enemies.

To get iron, you will want to head to the nodes to the west. This is because there is a cliff between you and the nodes to the east.

The lake, copper, limestone, and eastern iron nodes are all on top of a raised part of the land, with high cliffs on all sides and only 1 natural ramp to get up on the hill. Keep this in mind as your factory expands.

To sum it all up, this area is a viable place to start, however, the enemies are a lot more challenging than other areas and the terrain is rough and sometimes very hard to work around. Resource nodes are very spread apart, and it’s very hard to see things that are far away. However challenging this biome may be, it looks beautiful!

Try starting your next playthrough in the Titan Forest!

Thanks to turnerdeedo for his great guide, all credit to his effort. you can also read the original guide from Steam Community. enjoy the game.
