Skul The Hero Slayer: Items and Quintessences

Items are stored in your ‘Inventory’. The inventory can hold up to nine Items, after which you’ll have to switch between items through a simple menu. Luckily, Items are not a waste after that, too, as you can ‘scrap’ them for Gold. Quintessences are special Items, of which you can hold just one. All of them provide you with a temporary Buff and additional active effect – some of which are becoming invincible, knocking back enemies, and the like.

 

Quintessence List
Quitessences are obtained by:

  • Defeating Bosses and Mini-Bosses.
  • Purchased from another tender at the Shop; entered by taking the blue gates that are littered with signs. However, unlike the Item salesman, who always shows up, the Quintessence salesman shows up sparingly.
  • Sometimes, at the end of Chest Areas, entered by taking gates littered with chests.
Sphinx

Common

  • 30 seconds
  • Decreases incoming damage by 15%.
  • Makes you immune to trap damage for 10 seconds
Dwarf

Common

  • 30 seconds
  • Increases Crit Rate by 5%.
  • Increases Basic Attack by 20% for 10 seconds
Slime

Common

  • 10 seconds
  • Increases Max HP by 20
  • Become invincible for 1 second
Face Bug

Common

  • 8 seconds
  • Increases Physical and Magic Attack by 15%.
  • Throws a Face Bug to stun the enemy.
Pegasus

Common

  • 10 seconds
  • Movement Speed increased by 7%
  • Fly forward quickly.
Yeti

Common

  • 16 seconds
  • Increases Max HP by 25.
  • Throws a yeti’s snowball, inflicting freeze on affected enemies.
Kobold

Common

  • 20 seconds
  • Increases Physical Attack by 20%.
  • Strikes an enemy with a kobold’s pickaxe, dealing Physical Damage and acquiring a small amount of Gold.
Unstable Quintessence

Common

  • 10 seconds
  • Increases Physical and Magic Attack by 15%.
  • Creates an explosion through overloading that deals Physical Damage.
Mana Golem

Rare

  • 16 seconds
  • Decreases incoming damage by 20%
  • Creates a mana explosion, dealing Physical Damage and throwing enemies into the air. Enemies that collide with walls take additional damage.
Medusa

Rare

  • 25 seconds
  • Increases Skill Cooldown Speed by 40%
  • Deals Magic Damage to enemies in the front and slows down time temporarily.
Orc

Rare

  • 30 seconds
  • Basic Attack increased by 15%
  • Attack and incoming damage increased by 100% for seconds
Cyclops

Rare

  • 20 seconds
  • Max HP +40.
  • Gains a shield of 20 for 6 seconds.
Gryphon

Rare

  • 20 seconds
  • Increases Movement Speed by 20%.
  • Creates a storm that moves forward, pushing enemies toward its center, dealing Physical Damage.
Ifrit

Rare

  • 12 seconds
  • Unleashes the flame of Ifrit, dealing Magic Damage and inflicting burn.
Harpy

Rare

  • 30 seconds
  • Increases Attack Speed by 30%.
  • Increases Attack Speed by 30% and Movement Speed by 50% for 10 seconds.
Kiliban

Rare

  • 10 seconds
  • Increases Movement Speed by 30%.
  • Throws Kiliban’s sword to inflict Physical Damage and teleport where it lands.
Centauros

Rare

  • 14 seconds
  • Increases Physical Attack by 30%. Throws a spear of the centaur, dealing Physical Damage and inflicting bleed on affected enemies.
Naias

Rare

  • 12 Seconds
  • Increases Max HP by 40 points.
  • Fires 4 Naiad ice bolts and inflicts freeze on affected enemies.
Succubus

Rare

  • 12 seconds
  • Increases Crit Rate by 10%.
  • Charms nearby enemies, pulling them closer and dealing Physical Damage.
Imp

Unique

  • 12 seconds
  • Cooldown Speed increased by 15%
  • Summons a trio of imps that shoot fireballs at enemies.
Weapon Master

Unique

  • 28 seconds
  • Increases Physical Attack by 45%.
  • The arsenal of the weapon master materialises and charges forward, dealing Physical Damage.
Flame Dragon

Unique

  • 25 Seconds
  • Increases Physical and Magic Attack by 30%.
  • Spews forht a powerful flame that deals Physical Damage and inflicts burn.
Evil Eye

Unique

  • 45 seconds
  • Increases Magic Attack by 65%.
  • The colossal eye blinks, dealing Magic Damage to all enemies in a wide area and stunning them.
Evil Spirit

Unique

  • 4 seconds
  • Increases Attack Speed by 40%.
  • Move behind the nearest enemy on the ground.
Suonisio

Legendary

  • 60 seconds
  • Increases Skill Cooldown Speed by 80%.
  • The condensed power in Suonisio’s hand creates an explosion, dealing Magic Damage.
Shadow Knights

Legendary

  • 60 seconds
  • Increases Physical Attack by 65%.
  • The shadow cavalry charges forward, dealing Physical Damage. Grants an HP barrier with 30 HP that lasts for 30 seconds.
Archdemon

Legendary

  • 60 seconds
  • Increases Max HP by 60.
  • Tracks down enemies and shoots multiple flying spirit flames. When these hit enemies, they explode and deal Magic Damage.

Lyweasel

  • Increases HP by 40.
Hate Stone

Common

  • Increases Magic Attack by 55% for 3 seconds when hit.
Knight’s Determination

Common

  • Decreases incoming damage by 30% when your remaining HP is 30% or less.
Explosive Ointment

Common

  • When hit, creates an explosion that deals Physical Damage.
Bottled Embers

Common

  • Attacks create a 10% chance of burning enemies.
Draft Stone

Common

  • Increases the Skeleton Soldier’s Physical and Magic Attack by 30%.
Eleventh Finger of Lightning

Rare

  • Randomly drops lightning onto enemies within range every 8 seconds, dealing Magic Damage.
Water Spirit Undine

Rare

  • The Water Spirit Undine Follows you around, randomly attacking enemies every 3 seconds. Undine atacks create a 10% chance of Freezing enemies.
Execution Axe

Rare

  • Increases Physical Attack by 35%. Increases Max HP of Power Skulls by 35.
Bone of Swiftness

Rare

  • Having 2 Speed Skulls increases Attack Speed by 20%
Thorny Pauldrons

Rare

  • Increases Dash Damages by 100%. Decreases incoming damage by 10%.
Thorny Boots

Rare

  • Increases Physical Attack by 20%.
  • Inflicts Physical Damage to enemies that you land on after jumping.
Brawler’s Knuckle

Rare

  • Increases Physical Attack by 20% and Crit. Rate by 7%.
Emergency Bomb

Rare

  • Increases Physical Attack by 20%.
  • When double-jumping, drops a Physical Damage dealing bomb.
Bone Hourglass

Rare

  • Decreases swap cooldown by 0.5 second every time you use skills.
Grudge Stone

Rare

  • Increases Max HP by 30.
  • Killing an enemy has a 20% chance of causing an explosion that deals Magic Damage.
Assassin Dagger

Rare

  • Increases Crit Rate by 10%, and Attack and Movement Speed of Speed Skulls by 25% and 15% respectively
Hidden Dagger

Rare

  • Increases Crit. Rate by 7%.
  • When dashing, throws a dagger that deals Physical Damage.
Ritual Staff

Rare

  • Increases Magic Attack by 50%. Increases the Skill Cooldown Speed for Balance Skulls by 45%.
Berserker’s Gauntlet

Rare

  • Increases Attack Speed by up to 60% in proportion to your HP loss.
Gold Incense Burner

Rare

  • Increases Gold gain by 10%. Increases Max HP by 25.
Rake of Fury

Rare

  • Increases Attack Speed by 55% for 3 seconds per kill.
Clown’s Surprise Box

Rare

  • When swapping, throws 3 jack-in-the-boxes upwards. The jack-in-the-boxes explode upon hitting the ground, dealing Physical Damage.
Magic Mirror

Rare

  • Decreases incoming damage by 10%.
  • Swapping stuns enemies in a wide area.
Vampire Fang

Rare

  • Restores 1 HP every 3 kills.
Warrior’s Pauldrons

Rare

  • 20 seconds
  • Every 20 seconds, creates a wall that lasts for 5 seconds, nullifying frontal damage.
Warrior’s Gloves

Rare

  • 7 seconds
  • When dashing, creates an energy blast that deals Physical Damage.
Elementalists’ Blessing

Rare

  • Increases Magic Attack by 45% for every Spirit you have.
Priestess’ Veil

Rare

  • 30 seconds
  • * Increases Physical/Magic Attack by 40. Decreases incoming damage by 50%. Increases Attack Speed by 65% and Movement Speed by 45%.
  • Randomly casts a 10 second buff every 30 seconds.
Ice Scale Spaulders

Rare

  • 30 seconds
  • Upon attacking with a dash attack, there’s a 30% chance to inflict freeze on affected enemies. Decreases incoming damage by 10%.
Fire Spirit Salamander

Rare

  • Summons the fire spirit, Salamander, who follows the player and shoots flames every 5 seconds, dealing Magic Damage, with a 30% chance to burn affected targets.
Coward’s Cape

Rare

  • Increases Dash Cooldown Speed by 100% and Dashing Distance by 80% if there are 4 or more enemies around you.
Ancient Incense Burner

Rare

  • Increases Quintessence Cooldown Speed by 50% and Max HP by 35.
Iron Shoes of Bitter Cold

Rare

  • Increases Magic Attack by 35%.
  • Creates a 20% chance of freezing enemies that you land on after jumping.
Naia’s Heart

Rare

  • 1 seconds
  • Increases Max HP by 35.
  • Incoming damage hurts and freezes surrounding enemies.
Magic Bead of Darkness

Rare

  • When swapping, inflict stun on nearby enemies.
Ceremonial Dagger

Rare

  • Increases Crit. Rate by 5%.
  • Critical Attacks increase Magic Attack by 55% for 3 seconds.
Thief Armor

Rare

  • 0.5 seconds
  • Upon usage of normal attacks, throws a shuriken that deals Physical Damage. On a Critical Attack, throws a giant shuriken that deals Physical Damage.
Giant’s Axe

Rare

  • Increases Physical Attack by 30%.
  • Swapping to a Power Skull sends nearby enemies flying and inflicts Physical Damage.
Mage’s Necklace

Rare

  • When casting a skill, creates a burning orb, which hurls a fireball at the nearest enemy, dealing Magic Damage.
Sphinx Eye

Rare

  • Decreases trap damage by 75%. Increases Magic Attack by 35%.

Wind Armor

Rare

  • Increases Dashing Distance by 40%. Dashing has a 30% chance of resetting Dash Cooldown.
Broken Mana Engine

Rare

  • Increases Skill Cooldown Speed by 30%
  • When dashing, creates a magic mass, which explodes after a while, dealing Magic Damage.
Bone of Courage

Unique

  • Amplifies the damage of the next normal attack by 50% every 3 seconds. Based on the number of Power Skulls held, the damage amplification can be increased to 100% (1) or 200% (2).
Mana Bone

Unique

  • When casting a Skill, creates a mana storm that wrap around itself, dealing Magic Damage. Based on the number of Balance Skulls owned, the damage and area of effect increases by (30%/100%).
Dark Priest Robe

Unique

  • 90 seconds
  • Creates a 30 HP barrier for 30 seconds when your HP drops to 30 or below.
Explosive Arrow

Unique

  • 0.5 second
  • All projectiles explode upon contact, dealing true damage.
Gunpowder Sword

Unique

  • Upon a successful Critical hit, creates an explosion that deals Physical Damage.
Thief’s Black Steel Dagger

Unique

  • Each attack increases Crit. Rate by 2% for 3 seconds. This effect can be stacked up 20 times.
Manatech Circulator

Unique

  • Using skills decreaes all Skill Cooldown by 1 second every 4 seconds.
Demonomicon

Unique

  • Decreases Swap Cooldown by 0.5 seconds for each kill. Increases Magic Attack by 55%.
Jagamon Thorn

Unique

  • Basic Attacks inflict 10 additional true damage.
Hero’s Holy Sword

Unique

  • Dashing increases Physical Attack by 90% for 1 second.
Master Fighter

Unique

  • Increases Physical and Magic Attack by 70% if there are 2 or less enemies around you.
Ninja Mask

Unique

  • Amplifies damage dealt from behind by 40%
Ruby Heart

Unique

  • Restores 1 HP per kill for 2 seconds upon swapping.
Diorite Circlet

Unique

  • Successful Quintessence attacks increase Magic Attack by 100% for 5 seconds.
Rear Blast

Unique

  • Successful Item attacks increase Physical Attack by 70% for 2 seconds.
Manatech Dagger

Unique

  • Makes subsequent basic attacks inflict Critical Damage every 3 seconds.
Earth Spirit Gnome

  • An earth spirit gnome follows the player and casts rock magic every 7 seconds, dealing Magic Damage, with a 20% chance of inflicting stun.

Legendary

  • When swapping, creates a giant vortex that pulls enemies toward its center and deals Magic Damage.
Sylphid Wings

Legendary

  • Increases Aerial Attack Speed by 70% and Movement Speed by 100%.
  • Enables an extra jump.
