ABOUT THE MOD

This mod adds 17 new items related to the Half-Life universe, this guide contains detailed descriptions of each item.

ITEM DESCRIPTIONS

CROWBAR

Type: Active (3 Room Charge)
Item Pool: Shop

Upon use breaks all doors (there are some exceptions), deals 20 damage to enemies in the room and confuses the surviving enemies for a short time.

TIE

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Treasure

Randomly charmes enemies for a short duration. The charming chance is independent of Luck stat and isn’t affected by it.

CAN

Type: Familiar
Item Pool: Boss

Gives a familiar that moves in a relatively far orbit around isaac. Deals 6 damage per tick and moves at moderate speed.

URANIUM 235

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Treasure

Isaac’s tears are bright orange/yellow and he gains +2.5 damage and 25% tear size increase but loses -0.25 shot speed and one of his heart containers gets converted into a soul heart. (If there aren’t any heart containers he will simply gain a soul heart)

RETINAL SCANNER

Type: Active (4 Room Charge)
Item Pool: Shop

When activated, the doors will close and 4 to 8 enemies and a random chest will spawn in the room. This is similar to a challenge room but it’s only a single wave and does not grant an item charge on completion. (Possible enemies include: Gaper, Maggot, Maw, Brain, Big Spider)

FORBIDDEN NUMBER

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Devil

Upon taking it, gives -0.3 to damage, speed and luck stats. Additionally, every time you take damage you have 30% chance to spawn 3 coins, hearts, bombs, keys or batteries. They can’t be the golden variants and the more valuable variants are rarer than the regular ones.

CONSOLE

Type: Active (6 Room Charge)
Item Pool: Secret

Activates a random debug console effect for a single room which include; Draw Hitboxes (25%), Draw Grids (10%), Immortality (5%), +40 Damage (5%), Show Damage Values (25%), +50 Luck (15%), Kill every enemy (5%), Grid Info (10%). These chances don’t change with player’s luck stat.

HEADCRAB

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Boss

Gives Isaac +0.2 speed and +0.5 damage and 1 health up. From now on every red heart isaac picks up is converted into rotten hearts. The conversion rate is 1 half red heart = 1 rotten heart. So taking a normal red heart will give Isaac 2 rotten hearts.

ID CARD

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Angel

Gives +0.25 shot speed, + 1.25 damage, +0.15 speed, +1 luck, +0.43 tears. Additionally, Isaac gains pseudo-piercing tears, upon killing an enemy the leftover damage from the tear that killed it carries on with the tear in the same direction instead of the tear disappearing after the kill.

MEDKIT

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Boss

Gives Isaac 2 health up, fills all of his missing red health and gives +0.15 speed up.

HIVEHAND

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Devil

Isaac loses 40% of his damage but gains x0.7 tears multiplier, +0.61 tears, +0.15 shot speed and homing tears. This tears multiplier greatly boosts all the tears item picked up, but will also lower the damage ups significantly.

BRIEFCASE

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Shop

Each time Isaac gets hit, there’s a 3% chance for him to get teleported to either a devil, angel or an error room. The devil and angel rooms are different than the current floor’s devil and angel rooms, and each time they will be different, even if the briefcase gets triggered twice on the same floor.

ENERGY BALL

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Devil

There’s a 5% chance to fire a tear that does 4x damage, destroys rocks/doors, bouncess off enemies/walls and deletes enemy projectiles. Goes up to 100% with 10 Luck.

SUIT BATTERY

Type: Active (4 Room Charge)
Item Pool: Treasure

Deals 1/2 red heart damage, grants 1 soul heart and fires 8 tech lasers in all directions. If there’s no red hearts, no red heart is taken and no soul heart is given to the player but the laser can still activate.

SCIENTIST GLASSES

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Treasure

Gives +0.8 tears and +0.5 damage. There’s a 10% chance to shoot a tear that splits into 4 on contact, and there’s also another 10% chance to fire a tear that splits into 2 upon hitting an enemy. When there are enemies in the room, Isaac will see everything slightly pixelated.

HEV HELMET

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Treasure

Gives Isaac spike immunity, 1 health up and also fills all red heart containers. Spike immunity includes ground spikes, spiked chests and curse rooms.

HEV SUIT

Type: Passive
Item Pool: Treasure

Gives Isaac explosion immunity, 3 spirit hearts and also fills all red heart containers. Explosion immunity includes all kind of explosions.
